Winchester Match Primers are the same primers used in the match-grade Winchester USA Ready ammunition. These primers are built to exact specifications for shot-to-shot consistency. All primers are constantly and rigorously tested for consistency and sensitivity at temperatures and conditions far beyond the range of normal usage. Winchester guarantees better sensitivity for more positive firing in all guns, carefully-controlled weights of primer mixtures, consistency in size and quality, precise measurements and tolerances for anvil heights, and stability in extremes of temperatures and humidity.

Some 6.5 Creedmoor brass types use Large rifle, then from what I can tell these brands use Small rifle (Alpha Munitions, and Lapua). Starline brass apparently makes them in small and large primer pocket sizes now. Some recommend a magnum small rifle primer in those that call for that size. So, if the brass you are loading uses large rifle primers these will work for the 6.5 Creedmoor. Hope this helps.

So far I’ve only used these primers on 7.62×39 loads for my Ruger American. No ignition issues, or primer cups being to hard. When I found the best load for this rifle, the Extreme Spreads & Standard Deviations have been excellent.
