CCI 7.62mm NATO-Spec Military Primers are a blend of priming material well-suited for magnum cartridges and developed to meet NATO requirements, so they can be used in military heavy hitters. Reloaders of military cartridges benefit most from using primers with the CC 34 designation. Primers like these are purposefully more difficult to ignite to avoid slam fires in military-style rifles with a floating firing pin. This is done to have better control over the fire. Every CCI primer is subject to frequent quality assurance testing and is revised as needed. The end result is that modern CCI primers are more sensitive than ever, easier to seat, and compatible with progressive and automated loading equipment. In order to get the cleanest burn possible, today’s initiator combinations are used. These mixtures are non-corrosive and do not include mercury. Best CCI 34 Primers For Sale

For the most part, semi-automatic military rifles do not feature firing pin retraction springs.
A “slam-fire” occurs when the bolt fires before locking, and this is more likely to happen when ammo is loaded carelessly.
The difference between the commercial versions and their military counterparts is in the procedures and components used to create them. CCI is your one-stop shop for readily available rifle primers that are both sensitive to military needs and less likely to result in a slam fire if something goes wrong. What you need can be found at CCI. The finest primers to use when reloading a military semi-auto are ones designed for use in such weapons. Cheap CCI 34 Primers For Sale

Ernest A. Hamilton –
I’ve used them in everything I shoot, using lg primers. Generally speaking the cups are a little harder for use with floating firing pins. I have had a slam fire in an M1 Garand using regular primers. Lesson learned. As long as you work your loads up slowly looking for pressure signs you should be good to go.
