PRODUCT OVERVIEW: CCI 300 PRIMERS| CCI LARGE PISTOL PRIMERS
CCI Primers are continuously evaluated and improved. Because of this, CCI primers are more sensitive, simpler to seat, and compatible with progressive and automated loading equipment than ever before. To create the cleanest burn possible, they use modern non-corrosive and non-mercuric initiator mixes. The CCI 300 Primers come in two sizes: 1000 count and 5000 count.
- Clean burning
- Meet most reloading needs
- Unmatched reliability

No, not for 9mm. For the majority of reloaders, there are four different primer types that you may use. Small pistol, large pistol, small rifle, and large rifle. For pistol cartridges, .40 and under use small pistol. Over .40 use large pistol. (Like everything in life, there are exceptions, the most obvious being that if/when you start loading .45, you’ll see that some minority percentage of .45 use small primers. If you aren’t yet loading .45, ignore this, because you’ll understand by the time you get to it.) For rifle cartridges, some use small rifle primers and others use large rifle primers. I only load .223 and .308. .223 falls into the small rifle primer category, and .308 falls into large rifle primer. Ignore the numbers on the primer boxes (although you will come to memorize them) and just look for SMALL PISTOL PRIMERS for 9mm and .380. Don’t inadvertently order MAGNUM small pistol primers. You don’t want those. Of course, by the time primers are available again, you will have had 7 years to read all sorts of info about reloading.
